Web Standards and You

I would like to give a brief overview of the benefits of web standards, both for our current and future clients, and for our site's visitors.

Usage of web standards improves the accessibility of your site, making it easier for people with disabilities to read and understand your site's content. Using XHTML and CSS to separate the structure and content of your site from its presentation will make your site accessible.

For the same reasons using web standards and properly structured content improves accessibility, it also improves search engine rankings. This is one of the most important things you can do to improve your sites search engine optimization.

Where-ever possible, our team uses validated XHTML 1.0 Strict and CSS 2.0 for the sites we develop. We keep up-to-date on the latest standards, and use that knowledge to sure that the sites we create are developed using widely supported web standards.
