ZX Development created a site to provide information about the community of active players within the Jamaican soccer associations. The publicly viewable site provides forums, interactive chat, and searching and viewing of data-sheets on players, technical staff, and referees. It also includes a login-secured administrative area that allows for different access levels for the addition, deletion, and editing of individual records, as well as entering of club and match history and other statistics. The site was written using XHTML 1.0 Strict, CSS 2, Cross-browser Javascript, PHP5, and MySQL5. PHP Object Generator was used to provide the database access layer. An object-oriented approach was followed throughout the project, which aided code re-usability and allowed for a quicker and more agile development of the project.
